Darren's long-anticipated sophomore record Heart Attack Sleeves was recorded in a turn-of-the-century victorian mansion in Neenah during the cold Wisconsin winter. Accomplishing a more raw and real sound than on past solo recordings, Garvey chose from minimal studio takes and avoided leaning on editing.
Multi-instrumentalist Darren Garvey is best know as the versatile drummer and percussionist in Elephant Revival, but has established himself as an idiosyncratic songwriter with heavy-hearted lyrics and clever arrangements.
